On this day, many New Year's Eve events and celebrations take place nationwide, including the New Year countdown in Hong Kong, the burning of incense and listening to the sound of bells at the Tianning Pagoda in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, and New Year's Eve concerts on various local stations.
